Air Purifiers
Austin air purifiers were added to the majority of classrooms to help with fine particulates. "Austin I" and "Austin II", as the children have named them, have reduced dust particles and made the air cleaner which particularly benefits those with breathing issues or those who are immunocompromised. |
Non Toxic Craft Supplies
We use only non-toxic art supplies approved by the Art and Creative Materials Institute (ACMI). Look for ACMI non-toxic seal ‘AP’ at www.acmiart.org Cleaning Liquids
We use fragrance-free, 3rd party certified least-toxic cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting products. When sanitizers and disinfectants are required, they are used only for their intended purpose and in strict accordance with all label instructions. |
Lead Remediation
We use only cold water for drinking and cooking; we flush all cooking and drinking outlets after long periods of non-use; and we clean debris from our outlet screens or aerators on a regular basis. We had our water tested and installed water filtration devices that have been certified to remove lead for additional treatment of drinking water at the outlet to bring the water to a '0' at testing. |
